The Luma Center clinical team has many years of experience working with children and families in a variety of settings including educational, medical and center based. Many of our therapists have advanced training in specialized areas such as the diagnosis and treatment of Sensory Processing Disorders and Childhood Apraxia of Speech. We believe strongly in partnering with families to develop realistic goals with positive outcomes that can be seen across community, home and school environments. Our shared goal is to build self-confidence, independence, and the foundations for future learning.

  Sensory Integration
  Some children are affected by touch, movement, sights, sounds and smells that may interfere with eating, dressing, playing and learning. Helping them integrate information coming through the senses allows them the opportunity to engage and participate successfully in the world around them.
  Therapeutic Preschool Programs Research continues to tell us that the very early years are the most important in our development. Great outcomes occur with early intervention by experienced professionals and active parent involvement.
